Got home last Saturday. Leaving today for Fire Island. In between: started buckling down to writing those [EXPLETIVE EXPLETIVE EXPLETIVE] college essays. I like writing, as a general rule, but trying to fit your entire personality into 200 words isn't exactly my cup of tea.
Anyway, there are a few funny quotes I'd like to share, and one great website.

Oh, man,I can't write college essays either. It's a pain, considering that for me, like you, writing is generally easy and fun. As soon as I have something half-worth reading, you and various other people will know it, because it will show up in your inbox with the words "EDIT ME!"
